ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES, LTD.

Associated Industries, Ltd., also known as AI Group, is the parent company of Parker’s, ACE, AI Rentals & Save the Date. It began in 1973 when the President and CEO, Mr. Parker Tibbetts, got involved in a junkyard business called Associated Industries, Ltd. (AIL) After a few years he bought out his partners and changed the company’s business plan, and in 1984 he began offering new and rebuilt auto parts. This became the main business and it has grown steadily over the years becoming the leading automotive parts business on the island. In 1987 AIL became a member of Ace Hardware Corporation and added some hardware lines to its offerings and in 1994 it was joined by a paint store division known as ACE Paint and décor.

In 1998 Associated Industries, Ltd. purchased Payless Auto Parts, Ltd. which was located on Eastern avenue for over 20 years. Given the acquisition of this store and the expansion of items offered due to AIL’s affiliation with ACE, in 1999 the company decided to have Associated Industries, Ltd. be known as the parent Company and gave it’s main store a name and identity of its own, “Parker’s”, to reflect the changed nature of the business.

Ace Cayman is a part of  AI Group and have been a franchise member for over 35 years. On August 27th, 2018 Ace Paint & Decor and Payless Auto Parts merged into one store and Ace Cayman was born.

Ace Cayman prides itself in offering a wide range of products from Auto parts, paint, hardware, tool, plumbing and electrical supplies, and even household items. Ace carries brands such as Clark + Kensington Paint, Craftsman tools, and car care products from Valvoline and Meguiar’s. As a proud member of the international Ace franchise we are also home to The Paint Studio by Ace.
